Spotlight On: The Berry Family

The berry family which comprises burgundy, plum, maroon, wine, bordeaux, aubergine, oxblood, crimson… the list goes on… was a dominant force on the AW12/13 runways, and it’s not difficult to see why. This dark and rich colour palette is quite versatile in its wearability, being easily worn with other winter favourites such as navy blue, grey, black, white, beige and brown, or can be worn entirely on its own as a monotone look. Here are just a few of my favourite looks and pieces in this captivating colour family.
