Spotlight On: Summer Whites

 

Nothing quite says it’s summer than a clean, fresh, airy white garment. Whilst prints and pastels are all the rage at the moment, white has maintained a muted yet prominent perennial presence. So much so that the LWD has become an item to behold much like the perfect LBD. With the growing choice of fabrics, cuts, shapes and textures that are available, it has become much easier to wear white pieces. This cool and polished hue features in every part of the wardrobe from simple linen and cotton dresses, to clean cut tailored styles in crisp cotton for day, and silk, lace and broderie anglaise for night. So, if you’re looking for a break from prints and pastels, then cool summer whites may just provide a refreshing alternative.
